Forging Process
Professional forging
Forging processing can ensure the continuity of metal fiber structure, keep the fiber structure of forgings consistent with the shape of forgings. Moreover, it has complete metal streamline, dense structure and good mechanical properties. The forged products have high hardness, toughness and wear resistance, good texture and good corrosion resistance, which can ensure good mechanical properties and long service life.
Process advantages
What is forging? It is a process wherein an external force is used to deform a metal blank plastically, to achieve a part with a required shape, size, and performance. The forging cutter heats up the blank until it is malleable, then it is repeatedly forged via the external force, and finally tempered and quenched to enhance its heat treatment, resulting in a uniform carbide structure with improved performance and high forging hardness, strength, wear-resistance, and impact resistance. The most striking features of forging knives are: thick back, thin blade and colorful face. When in use, the balance between the handle and the blade is excellent, labor-saving, sharp and durable.

Real forging knives
The forging knives of Zhonglihe have always been truly forged. After the high-pressure process of forging, the knife is more durable, more stable and integrated, and the forging process also improves the density and toughness of the material.
Comparison between real forging and non-forging
The advantage of welding forging tool is cost saving. The disadvantages of welding forging tool are lower density, lower toughness, instability around the weld joint and the possibility of cracking. The welding part is overheated, which makes the knife easy to crack and deform.
